Build a career in care with a team that cares

At Caring With Dignity, we believe great care starts with great people. Our support workers are more than a familiar face at the door. They are trusted members of the team who get to know the people they support, listen to what matters to them, and help them live life on their own terms.

We’re always looking for kind, caring, and compassionate people who want to make a genuine difference. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you join us. While experience is preferred, we will train the right people and support you to develop your skills and qualifications along the way.

If you’re enthusiastic, thoughtful, and committed to providing person-centred care, we’d love to hear from you.

Why work with Caring With Dignity?

We want our support workers to feel as valued and supported as the people they care for. That’s why we’re building a nurturing environment where our team can feel safe, supported, and appreciated in their work.

Above-minimum-wage pay

We believe good care deserves to be recognised and rewarded, with pay above the minimum wage.

Join a nurturing, caring environment where your wellbeing matters and you can feel supported in your role.

Access our bike-to-work scheme and receive a uniform, including coats and waterproofs for walkers.

From induction and mandatory training to Care Certificates and NVQs, we’ll help you develop your skills.

Your work will directly help people remain safe, settled, and independent in their own homes.

Grow your skills and build your career

Care is a career where there is always more to learn. We’ll support you with the training you need to feel confident in your role and develop your skills over time.

Training from the start

Your training begins with a structured induction, followed by job-specific and mandatory training to help you understand your responsibilities and provide safe, person-centred care.

Care Certificate

New support workers can work towards their Care Certificate, developing the core knowledge and skills needed to provide high-quality care.

NVQ qualifications

Where required, we can support team members to work towards NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications.

Progression opportunities

For those who want to take the next step, there are opportunities to progress into senior carer roles as your experience and skills develop.

Where will I be working?

Our support workers provide care for clients across our local service area, including Dudley, Wombourne, Penn, Kingswinford, Halesowen, and Stourbridge.

As a community-based support worker, you’ll spend your time visiting people in their own homes rather than working in a single care setting. A driving licence and access to a car is preferred for our roles.

Ready to make a difference?

If you’re looking for a career where the work you do matters, Caring With Dignity could be the place for you.

Whether you’re an experienced support worker or you’re looking to take your first steps into care, we’re interested in hearing from people who share our values and want to provide genuinely person-centred support.

About us

Caring with Dignity is an independent, award-winning home care company based in Tipton. We help older people across Dudley, Sandwell, Wolverhampton and South Staffordshire live well in their own homes. Our founders set up the company to offer old-fashioned care, the way it used to be. Our visits are led by the client, not the clock. When the jobs are done, there’s time for a cup of tea and a proper chat.

About the role

We’re looking for kind, caring women to join our small, friendly team in Dudley. You’ll visit the same clients regularly, so you get to know them, their families and the little things that make their day.

New to care? That’s fine. We’ll give you full training and support from day one. We welcome applications from students, parents and anyone looking for a career that really matters. We’ll work with you to find hours that fit around school and family.

What you’ll do

  • Help clients with personal care, such as washing, dressing and getting ready for the day
  • Support clients to move around safely, including using equipment once you’re trained
  • Give medication prompts and support, following each client’s care plan
  • Prepare meals the way your clients like them, in their own kitchen
  • Help with housework, shopping and errands
  • Spend time with clients: a chat, a game, some music or a trip out
  • Support people living with dementia, with the consistency that helps them feel settled
  • Encourage clients getting back on their feet after a hospital stay, following their exercise plans
  • Record your visits and notes on our care app, Tag Care, so families can see how their loved one is doing

What we offer

  • £[XX.XX] per hour, above the National Living Wage
  • Flexible hours that fit around school and family
  • Full induction, mandatory and job-specific training
  • The Care Certificate, plus support to gain your Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications
  • A clear path to senior carer, with a fully funded Level 4 for seniors
  • Uniform provided, including coats and waterproofs for carers who walk
  • Bike to Work scheme
  • Blue Light Card
  • Workplace pension
  • A small, supportive team, recognised with two West Midlands Care Association awards: International Worker (2025) and Deputy Manager (2026)

What we’re looking for

  • A kind, caring, compassionate and thoughtful nature, with plenty of enthusiasm
  • The right to work in the UK
  • A clear DBS check
  • A driving licence and access to a car are preferred, but not essential. Walkers and cyclists are welcome
  • Care experience is a bonus, but not essential. We’ll train you

Care the way it should be

At Caring with Dignity, our visits are led by the client, not the clock. If the tasks are done early, you’ll sit down for a cup of tea and a chat. If your client fancies kippers for breakfast, that’s what they get. We provide what a person wants, not what we think they need.

We’re an independent, award-winning home care company based in Tipton, supporting older people across Wolverhampton, South Staffordshire, Dudley and Sandwell. Our founders bring over 45 years’ combined experience in care, from residential and NHS backgrounds.

About the role

We’re looking for experienced female carers who want the time to do the job properly. You’ll join a small team, matched to clients you get on with, and see the same faces week after week. Many of our clients are living with dementia, and some are coming home after a hospital stay.

What you’ll do

  • Provide person-centred personal care, such as washing, dressing and continence care, always protecting dignity and independence
  • Give medication prompts and support, following each client’s care plan
  • Support safe moving and handling, using equipment where it’s in the care plan
  • Prepare meals to each client’s tastes and dietary needs
  • Help with housework, shopping and errands
  • Offer companionship to ease loneliness, from conversation and music to trips out
  • Go with clients to appointments through our appointment buddying service
  • Follow occupational therapy exercise plans to help clients regain their mobility
  • Notice and report any changes in a client’s health or wellbeing, working with families and health professionals
  • Record visits and notes on our care app, Tag Care

What we offer

  • £[XX.XX] per hour, above the National Living Wage
  • Visits led by the client, with time to do the job properly
  • Small teams and regular clients, so you build real relationships
  • Support to gain your Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications
  • Progression to senior carer, with a fully funded Level 4 for seniors
  • Flexible hours around family commitments
  • Uniform provided, including coats and waterproofs
  • Bike to Work scheme
  • Blue Light Card
  • Workplace pension
  • An award-winning team: West Midlands Care Association winners for International Worker (2025) and Deputy Manager (2026)

What we’re looking for

Full training is given, but ideally you’ll have:

  • Experience in home care or another care setting, with two years preferred
  • Experience of supporting people living with dementia
  • Knowledge of medication support and safe moving and handling
  • Good communication skills with clients, families and health professionals
  • A driving licence and access to a car (preferred)

You’ll also need:

  • The right to work in the UK
  • A clear DBS check
